There were 665 VC-backed tech exits in 2015.
SV Angel, New Enterprise Associates, and Accel Partners were number one, two, and three respectively for VCs with most exited companies in 2015. But this is perhaps not surprising since NEA, SV Angel, and Accel regularly rank in the top 10 for the overall number of companies they invest in annually. Other slightly less active VCs among the top 10 for exits in 2015 were Greylock Partners, London-based Index Ventures, and Sequoia Capital.
Among corporates and corporate venture capital groups, Intel Capital had the most exited investments in 2015. Intel Capital has consistently outperformed other corporates and CVCs by this measure, having topped our rankings in 2014 and 2013 as well.
