Although, sometimes when clicking on an option for another site, it will unpredictably open a new tab. One of the advantages of these platforms is the special flight prices they find and offer to users. In this case, both Vialaja and Voopter have a section for these special prices.Â

Viajala : When I was navigating on the site for the first time, a pop-up window appeared asking me to create an account. Of course, I said yes and signed up using my email. Seconds later, I got an e-mail to confirm my account. However, this was the only time I was aware of their newsletter. I tried looking for a login option throughout Viajala and couldnât find one.Â 
Voopter : There is one great feature that Voopter has that I couldnât find on Viajala , as I mentioned above. Specifically, the platform can send you cheap flight alerts to destinations that interest you. Everything is done in three simple steps. First, choose your travel route then, enter your budget, and finally, receive alerts through your email. The overall travel booking experience
After experimenting and using both platforms, I can say that either one can help you land the best deals available. Nevertheless, each of them has features that make them stand out differently. For me, the best thing about Viajala is how easy it makes comparing travel deals on different sites since you can visualize them on the same page. The other great aspect of the platform is the blog section. With entertaining, informative and fun content Viajalaâs blog is definitely a go-to before traveling. Even better, it will keep you up to date with the travel industry.Â 
On the other hand, Voopters â multiple date features are amazing and practical. Thanks to them, you can compare preferred flights and dates to travel. All without the need for changing days on the search bar every single time. Also, the fact that you can get deal sents straight to your inbox is pretty handy. Undoubtedly using these platforms will save you a lot of time and get you the best deals and offers out there. Em um mundo de buscas dominadas pelas ferramentas do buscador do Google em diferentes setores, buscadores especializados tentam mostrar seu valor. Um exemplo vem do comparador de preços de viagem brasileiro Voopter , que foi escolhido neste mês como uma das 25 startups de turismo e viagens mais promissoras do mundo, em um ranking anual publicado pela empresa americana de mídia especializada em turismo Skift (o Travel Startups to Watch, ou “startups de turismo para se prestar atenção”, em inglês). A Voopter é a primeira brasileira a fazer parte da lista, uma das mais conceituadas do mundo no setor de turismo e viagens. Fundada em 2013 — “logo antes da crise econômica brasileira”, lembra a publicação da Skift –, a Voopter oferece uma ferramenta comparadora de preços para passagens aéreas , além de conteúdo próprio sobre viagens e alertas de promoções. São mais de dois milhões de usuários que acessam mensalmente a plataforma (disponível em computador ou no aplicativo próprio da empresa) e, até hoje, mais de 4 milhões de redirecionamentos foram feitos para sites das empresas parceiras. A Voopter não divulga seu faturamento, mas já recebeu cerca de 1,5 milhão de dólares em investimentos. Mais internet, mais viagens
Ao longo de seus cinco anos de vida, a Voopter ganhou espaço no Brasil no mesmo passo que mais pessoas passaram a usar os buscadores da internet antes de decidir por uma compra. Quando a empresa nasceu em 2013, por exemplo, só 17% dos membros das classes D e E e 49% da classe C acessavam a internet, segundo dados da Cetic (Centro Regional de Estudos para o Desenvolvimento da Sociedade da Informação) compilados pelo Instituto Locomotiva. Cinco anos depois, a rede é usada por 49% da população das classes D e E e 77% da classe C (e por quase 100% das classes mais altas, é claro). Além disso, de lá para cá, o número de brasileiros andando de avião foi de pouco mais de 80.000 em 2012 para mais de 100.000 em 2018. Mais de 90% dos passageiros embarcou em voos domésticos, para destinos dentro do Brasil. “Quando abrimos havia uma grande expectativa sobre esse mercado no Brasil. Mas o setor voltou a aquecer bastante agora, e estamos muito animados com os próximos anos”, diz Petterson Paiva, presidente e co-fundador da Voopter. Jeitinho brasileiro
A reportagem “A bilionária caça às pechinchas”, a edição 1189 de EXAME mostrou que os buscadores e comparadores de preço, que surgiram quando a internet no Brasil ainda engatinhava, hoje têm o desafio de brigar não só entre si mas com o Google, que vem aprimorando suas ferramentas de busca para anteder a nichos específicos. Foi para se preparar para a briga com o Google (que tem agora a categoria Google Shopping) que os comparadores de preços de varejo Zoom e Buscapé se uniram neste ano . Na Voopter, para além de concorrentes nacionais como a 123milhas ou a MaxMilhas, há agora a forte disputa com o Google Flights (Google voos, em inglês), ferramenta de comparação de preços de voos da empresa americana. Quando se pesquisa passagens no Google, o Google Flights oferece automaticamente diferentes preços disponíveis para aquela rota, antes mesmo que o usuário precise clicar para ver mais detalhes. O co-fundador e CTO da Voopter, Tales Tommasini, afirma que já se preparava para a concorrência com o Google desde o começo da empresa, e acredita que conseguirá sobreviver atingindo a outros nichos da clientela. Um exemplo: para encontrar um resultado no Google Flights, o cliente digita diretamente o destino para onde deseja ir, o que costuma fazer quando já está decidido sobre um lugar, explica Petterson. Na Voopter, os clientes cadastrados recebem também conteúdo geral, promoções disponíveis ou destinos que estão baratos naquele momento. Assim, um cliente que não estava decidido pode tomar decisões ou mesmo começar a se preparar para uma viagem. Isso só é possível, explica Tommasini, porque o consumidor brasileiro tem a característica de ser mais flexível. É comum o turista brasileiro querer ir para “alguma praia”, não uma praia específica. Nesse caso, fatores como preço podem influenciar mais. E a Voopter, ao mandar notificações para o celular dos usuários que têm o aplicativo instalado ou atualizações em seu site ou por e-mail, pode convencer os indecisos. “Isso não só nos tira da rota de coalizão como nos deu um espaço bem relevante, porque entendemos o que o mercado brasileiro precisa”, diz Tommasini. Crescer, mas não a todo custo
No último mês, a Voopter anunciou também uma parceria com o aplicativo de entregas Rappi , que vem trabalhando para se tornar um “superaplicativo”. Clientes que usarem a Rappi poderão, além de pedir entrega de refeições e outros itens, ser redirecionados para o buscador da Voopter para procurar passagens. “Ainda é pouco tempo de parceria, mas já dá para ver que está vindo um público diferente, que não usava nossa plataforma antes”, diz o presidente Petterson Paiva. Apesar da concorrência, o mercado de reservas online no Brasil continua crescendo na casa dos 40%, afirma a Voopter, porque muita gente ainda faz reservas fora da internet. Veja também
No entanto, para aproveitar essa leva de potenciais usuários e continuar crescendo, a Voopter vai na contramão de startups que, nos últimos anos, vêm repetindo o discurso de que é preciso crescer primeiro e lucrar depois. A empresa já é lucrativa desde 2017, e diz que, embora esteja aberta à captação de novos investimentos, a sustentabilidade do negócio não ficará em segundo plano. O foco para os próximos anos também não é internacionalizar a operação, e, por ora, a Voopter quer intensificar sua presença dentro do Brasil. Tal como em 2013, quando a empresa nasceu, o momento da economia não é dos melhores. Mas a Voopter tenta mostrar que é justamente nessa hora que é preciso pechinchar.

Brasileira Voopter está em lista global de startups de turismo promissoras

LatAm List – In partnership with a Brazilian travel app, Voopter , Rappi adds airline tickets to the list of products it offers. This new vertical began operating in June through Rappi’s application under the “Airfare” tab. Voopter has 2M users per month and offers dozens of deals a day. With this partnership, Voopter estimates a growth of 25% per month. The alliance is part of Rappi’s plan to become a “superapp” by bringing together a series of services in one single screen, a business strategy modelled after the Chinese messenger WeChat . One of the selling points of this strategy is that smartphone owners in Latin America and other emerging markets have little phone memory to install multiple applications, so having one application that aggregates different services is an ideal solution to this problem. The Colombian startup already has payment, manicure, repair, and dog walking services offered on its app. Rappi currently has 6.5M users in seven countries, including Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Uruguay, and completed about 70M orders in the last 12 months. Aiming to diminish the number of apps and the memory space they take up, the Colombian startup wants to become an “all in one” multifaceted platform. Rappi’s 6.5 million users are already able to enjoy a wide variety of seemingly random and unrelated services. In fact, the scaleup’s multiple acquisitions and partnerships have allowed them to even offer repair, manicure, pet-care, payments, mobility, and now, travel services. A novidade acontece devido a uma parceria com o aplicativo Voopter, que oferece o serviço de comparação de preços de passagens áreas. A funcionalidade está no ar desde 27 de maio, mas só foi anunciado oficialmente pela empresa nesta segunda-feira, 10. De acordo com a startup, a aba “Passagens Aéreas” está colocada ao lado das opções “Restaurantes” e “Supermercado”. A consulta das passagens áreas, garante a Rappi, é feita gratuitamente e a compra também pode ser finalizada pelo aplicativo.
