C’est un moment opportun pour se demander comment faire de la France une plus grande nation d’athlètes encore. Nous connaissons depuis longtemps déjà l’un des ressorts qui nous permettrait à coup sûr de remporter davantage de médailles : donner aux jeunes espoirs la possibilité de mener à bien dans de bonnes conditions un projet sport-études. Plus de jeunes engagés dans le sport à haut niveau, c’est mathématiquement plus de chances de médailles ! Publicité
On estime malheureusement que 30 % des sportifs décident d’arrêter leur pratique de haut niveau faute de pouvoir la mener de front avec leur scolarité . Or, les années passées à organiser ces JO n’auront pas suffisamment permis de faire émerger dans le débat public cette question : comment mieux concilier sport et études pour permettre à nos jeunes de ne pas avoir à choisir ? C’est pourtant une évidence. Le champion de demain est l’écolier d’aujourd’hui. La question n’est donc pas uniquement, pour les fédérations sportives, de savoir comment le détecter et le faire performer, mais également de tout mettre en œuvre pour qu’il puisse développer son talent dans des conditions qui lui permettent de combiner sa passion et sa scolarité. Au-delà, il s’agit aussi de faire en sorte que le jeune collégien ou lycéen qui s’entraîne plusieurs heures par jour puisse, en parallèle, suivre une scolarité quasi-normale. Cette dimension est cruciale car beaucoup de parents hésitent à prendre le risque d’hypothéquer l’avenir de leur enfant en faisant le pari risqué de la réussite sportive. En effet, parmi ces passionnés, peu auront la chance de faire partie de l’élite des sportifs professionnels vivant de leur passion. L’enjeu d’une scolarité de qualité est multiple : permettre à tous de préparer leur avenir, qu’ils deviennent professionnels ou non ; pouvoir poser les bases d’une future reconversion, pour ceux qui auront une carrière sportive ; et donner les moyens aux futurs champions de se former en tant que citoyens. Des citoyens appelés à devenir des modèles, notamment pour les plus jeunes. Créer un modèle éducatif où passion et école sont conciliables
Pour les familles concernées, plusieurs obstacles sont souvent évoqués : la difficulté de concilier les emplois du temps scolaire et sportif (entraînements, compétitions dans des lieux parfois très éloignés…), gérer les déplacements, être séparés dans le cas des centres de formation ou encore gérer la fatigue physique et mentale. Heureusement, les choses évoluent positivement. De plus en plus de fédérations (tennis, golf…) ou de clubs sportifs innovent et accordent de l’importance à la qualité de l’enseignement en prévoyant les emplois du temps pour laisser des temps de repos et de travail scolaire suffisants, ou encore des temps familiaux indispensables. Il est important d’aller plus loin pour encourager ces pratiques et créer, en France, un modèle éducatif où passion et école sont conciliables. Acteurs du sport et de l’éducation, nous sommes nombreux à être convaincus que le sport, et la passion en général, est un moteur de réussite, au service de compétences et de valeurs comme la confiance en soi, l’apprentissage de l’échec, la persévérance ou l’esprit collectif. Plus que jamais, dans la société actuelle, nos jeunes ont besoin de s’épanouir et de rêver. Le sport est l’un des moyens, avec la culture ou la musique, de rendre l’être humain meilleur. Rêvons, avec ces Jeux 2024, à donner au sport la place qu’il mérite et à notre pays les champions et les modèles de demain !

Pour sa part, Maxime Aiach dit carburer à la volonté de satisfaire l'intérêt du client. « Intervenir à domicile est certes un service commercial, mais c'est avant tout de la proximité », glisse ce père de trois enfants, qui a épousé une dentiste. A la fin des années 1980, pas encore marié, le couple s'octroie « un an autour du monde », de l'Inde à Hawaï, en passant par l'Ouzbékistan et le Mexique. « Une expérience marquante » durant laquelle, devant se « prendre en charge », il a « développé un esprit d'entrepreneur », estime-t-il. De retour en France, l'aîné de trois garçons, fils d'un père patron de PME dans les cosmétiques, s'essaie au salariat chez Citibank. Sans succès. Rodé aux cours à la maison, qu'il dispensait étudiant, il crée sa société. Trente-trois ans plus tard, celle-ci, renommée Acadomia en 1995, a résisté à diverses tempêtes, telles des accusations de non-conformité à la CNIL . Désormais, l'entreprise compte 130 agences dans l'Hexagone, dont l'Ecole A, qui vient d'être inaugurée à Paris. Côté Shiva, le réseau s'appuie sur plus de 300 agences, un volume qui croît au rythme de 60 ouvertures par an. Autant dire que Maxime Aiach a de quoi faire. Mais jamais au détriment de son « équilibre personnel », assure-t-il. Et ce joueur de tennis d'expliquer que « la vie a un début et une fin : il faut donc une bonne allocation du temps entre les sphères professionnelle, familiale et amicale ». Acadomia is the leading player in the primary, secondary, higher-education and test-prep tutoring markets (at-home, centers, online). It currently operates a network of nearly 100 agencies and is working with 20,000 tutors to help its 90,000 students meet their academic goals and enhance their educational life. Shiva is a leading and the fastest-growing player in the home-cleaning market. Shiva serves its 45,000-strong client-base thanks to a unique network of 8,000 selected, trained and highly-experienced maids and relies on a network of 165 franchised agencies throughout France. The sale follows Metric’s investment in the Domia in May 2013.
