What do you do at CB Insights? What did you do before?
I’m a software engineer at CB Insights. At one point or another I’ve had my hand in every technical aspect of the company from infrastructure to CSS, but I am now primarily focused on building out our API. I was hired as CB Insight’s first employee after an internship during my senior year.
What’s one interesting fact that not many people know about you?
During my junior year in college two friends and I won an entry into the Red Bull Can You Make It (redbullcanyoumakeit.com) competition.
We were flown to Manchester, England and given 8 days to make it to a party in Paris, France using only Red Bull as currency.
What’s your ideal vacation spot?
My ideal vacation spot is somewhere where I can disconnect and have access to nature. Vermont in the winter and the Finger Lakes region of NY in the summer.
1 horse-size duck or 100 duck-size horses? Why?
1 horse size duck that I would turn it into an amphibious automobile. I would be able to drive or boat to work.
