This morning we issued part 1 of our first-ever Venture Capital Human Capital report looking at the demographic characteristics of founders of internet companies receiving their first round of venture capital funding between January to June 2010. The demographic and firm characteristics looked at in part 1 of the Venture Capital Human Capital report are:
- Race of individual founders and racial composition of founding teams
- Age & Experience
- Number of founders per firm
Statistics were looked at on a national level and as well as across the Big Three States for venture funding, e.g., California, Massachusetts and New York.
