We’ve received hundreds of requests from clients and fans to organize a health conference, and we’re happy to announce that the time has come.
CB Insights will host its first-ever Future of Health (October 2-3, NYC), a gathering of 600+ execs over two days for conversations on what’s now and what’s next in healthcare, pharma, wellness, and more.
Some themes we’ll discuss at Future of Health:
AI’s dominance — talks on the use of artificial intelligence for drug discovery, diagnostics, and more
Tech insurgents — analysis on health bets by Google, Amazon, Apple, among others
Health and wellness — discussions on everything from fitness apps to anti-aging
Digital health — chats with those building platforms to fix the patient/client healthcare experience
We’re offering our health newsletter subscribers the very first chance to grab tickets to Future of Health.

What do Warby, Lyft, Apple, and Home Shopping Network have in common?
To keep costs low and maintain quality of care, insurers work with a broad set of partners — including digital health startups, industry incumbents, non-profits, and tech companies — to coordinate care, manage chronically ill patients, enhance benefits, and expand networks.
Lyft is working with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Humana for nonemergency medical transport; Apple is partnering with Aetna on an Apple Watch app called Attain to nudge members towards healthy behaviors; UnitedHealthcare offers discounted eyewear from Warby; and Aetna makes an annual appearance on the Home Shopping Network to promote its Medicare Advantage plans. These are just a few examples of the insurers’ partnering efforts to enhance their Medicare Advantage offerings.
