Elite hackers
My colleagues at CB Insights built 2 very cool tools during our most recent Hack Day.
The first was a tool to collect and track clinical trial data. This could build an overview of a company’s R&D focus, identify competitors, and compare overlapping drug pipelines by indication.
Below is an illustrative heat map analyzing Pfizer’s drug pipeline, which looks at the number of trials and dollars spent by therapeutic area.
The second was a pharma valuation tool. It marries our market sizing data with industry data and a few client-provided inputs to estimate peak sales and valuation.
