In recent months, apparel brands like Fossil and Ralph Lauren and beauty brands like e.l.f. Cosmetics and Estee Lauder have discussed their efforts to implement virtual try-on features. Executives’ interest in virtual try-on and fitting room options has spiked this year, as US e-commerce sales grew 44% year-over-year in Q2 and forecasts for e-commerce growth for the year climbed above 30%.
