Venture-backed tech exits started off with a bang when Sequoia Capital-backed WhatsApp was acquired for $22B by Facebook in February. The year ended on a high note as well with multiple VC-backed tech IPOs in December (including 2 of the 10 biggest exits of the year).
As we head into 2015, we identified the 20 largest US-based exits of 2014. These 20 companies saw a a cumulative valuation of over $55B. Yup – $55 Billion.
