While satellites are sensitive to certain weather conditions and fiber optics require end-to-end infrastructure installation, fixed wireless can provide fast, reliable services at a fraction of the cost. In addition, fixed wireless access is likely to become the foundational infrastructure of tomorrow’s 5G networks.
We used the CB Insights database to surface 7 notable startups using fixed wireless access to serve residential consumers and businesses. Companies were selected based on recency of funding, investor quality, and their Mosaic Score — CB Insights’ algorithm that uses financial and nonfinancial signals to predict private company health.
