Management consultants, disrupted. CEOs get the axe. Carbon capture startups.
Brain power
Hi there,
Yesterday Facebook announced that it’s acquiring New York-based neurotech startup CTRL-labs for between $500M and $1B.
The startup is working on tech that would let people control computers with their brains. Facebook’s VP of AR/VR says the company plans to use CTRL-labs’ technology to create a wristband that will translate people’s neurological signals into digital signals that can control their devices.
Big consultancies like McKinsey, BCG, and Bain deal in helping companies fend off challengers — but they’re not immune to the forces of disruption themselves.
We dig into what’s poised to transform management consulting in our Killing Strategy report.
