This is what Sabrent announces per Tweet . According to the website, Apex Storage only has one product in its portfolio: the Apex Storage 21. This is a PCIe plug-in card with space for 21 SSDs. All product information can be found under the link above. Sabrent fully populates the card with Rocket 4 Plus SSDs with 8 terabytes (TB) of storage. The Sabrent Apex X21 Destroyer has a total of 168 TB of storage. That has its price. The Rocket 4 Plus is not available for purchase from us. The SSD costs $1100 on the Sabrent website. This is a promotional price. It’s usually around $1,500 – multiplied by 21 equals $23,100 at promotional price or $31,500 at regular price. There are also 2800 dollars for the plug-in card. The card should therefore cost between 25,900 or 34,300 dollars for a total of 168 TB of storage. There is no definitive price yet. The product is still under development. The final price is likely to be even higher, since Sabrent and Apex still have to clarify things like cooling and controllers for the 21 SSDs. It is also not known when the product will be released.
