1About Wang Qiang
Wang Qiang (王强) joined New Oriental Education & Technology Group as a co-founder in 1996. He designed the foundations of New Oriental's oral English classes, as well as practical English and computer science courses. He served as Vice President and Board Member of New Oriental, as well as the New Oriental Beijing Branch Director and Standing Vice Principal. Prior to co-founding New Oriental Technology and Education, he held engineering positions in the software division of Bell Communications Research, and was formerly was a lecturer of English language and literature at Peking University. He received an M.S. in Computer Science from State University of New York, and a B.A. in English from Peking University.

Associated Press NEW YORK (AP) — Zheng Qinwen routed last year’s U.S. Open runner-up Ons Jabeur 6-2, 6-4 to move into the quarterfinals at Flushing Meadows for her deepest run ever in a Grand Slam tournament. Zheng becomes the first Chinese player to reach the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open since Wang Qiang in 2019. She did it with an aggressive baseline game that produced 21 winners. Jabeur committed 33 unforced errors and has appeared ill at times during her U.S. Open run.
