TRK Group AS was founded by Trond Riiber Knudsen in 2015, leaving McKinsey after 23 years as a Director/Senior Partner. Within the last 5 years, TRK group has invested in more than 60 early-stage ventures with global ambitions and a focus on disruptive technologies, digital services and marketplaces. To name a few, SpaceMaker or Kolonial . Also, the company is actively leveraging growth opportunities in African emerging markets. While being an active investor, Trond Riiber Knudsen is a board member of Opera Software, Laerdal Medical and The North Alliance. Also, he shares his expertise being a member of the Advisory Board of SpareBank 1 Markets and Laerdal Million Lives Fund. Moreover, Trond spends significant time in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where he co-founded the only paper and packaging recycling business employing 7.600 people. Trond has been a Dedicated Advisor to the Speiz team from the very early days of building the company at the Antler program. Trond’s expertise helped Speiz to build a foundation for the company’s grand vision to disrupt the B2B warehouse and storage market to make it more efficient and environmentally sustainable.
