Farmacare, a startup that helps Indonesian community pharmacies become more competitive and deliver better services to local communities, has received an unknown sum of early capital. Taurus Ventures, iSeed SEA, Indonesia Women Empowerment Fund, and unidentified angels also participated in the round, which was led by Beenext. “We are excited to announce the closing of seed investment in Farmacare, led by BEENEXT with Taurus Ventures, iSeed SEA, IWEF (Indonesia Women Empowerment Fund, a fund operated by Moonshot Ventures and YCAB Ventures), and angels,” founder Adi Sudewa said in a LinkedIn post. “We are growing by leaps and bounds, but still early in our dream to create positive impacts for community pharmacies, distributors, and millions of Indonesians who need much better access to medicines and other pharmaceutical products,” he added. Farmacare, which was founded in 2020, provides a cloud-based pharmaceutical business management service. It helps pharmacies across the archipelago manage their daily administrative workflows, boosting their efficiency and potential. Its system includes capabilities including sales record management, inventory monitoring, and customer relationship management. Pharmacies can keep track of their company success from any location, at any time. They may also use a single app to track daily sales per staff, verify purchase invoices, keep track of inventory, and keep track of different pharmacies. Farmacare also aids in the prevention of common pharmacy losses, such as fraud resulting from unrecorded sales and transactions; products lost, expired, or dead stock; and empty goods and refused consumers. The three-month plan costs IDR 149,000 (US $10.5) each month, while the one-year package costs US $136,000 (US $9.6) every month. SHARE
