(Photo by Red Box Pictures) Long before it became cool to run a tech incubator, Mike Koss was opening his doors to Seattle-area entrepreneurs at StartPad.org . In addition to office space, the ex-Microsoftie regularly hosts brown bag lunches where developers discuss everything from the finer points of mobile app development to new startup business ideas. Koss flies his geek flag high, and Seattle is better for it. “I love seeing something that only existed in my imagination become a real thing that can delight someone else,” Koss says. Editor’s Note: GeekWire has identified more than a dozen “Geeks Who Give Back” — people who work in non-profits, mentor others and invest in the future of the tech community.
