Real-time Analytics News for Week Ending May 27 In this week’s real-time analytics news: Red Hat made multiple product and partnership announcements at this week’s Red Hat Summit. Keeping pace with news and developments in the real-time analytics market can be a daunting task. Here is our list: Red Hat made multiple product and partnership announcements at this week’s Red Hat Summit in Boston. Some of the key product announcements included: Ansible Lightspeed with IBM Watson Code Assistant, a new generative AI service for Ansible automation. The service is designed to help drive consistent and accurate automation adoption across an organization, making it easier for novice users to automate tasks while removing the burden of low-level task creation from experienced automators. Red Hat Service Interconnect , which simplifies application connectivity and security across platforms, clusters, and clouds. Based on the open-source project, Skupper.io, Red Hat Service Interconnect lets developers more seamlessly create trusted connections between services, applications, and workloads across environments without requiring complex network reconfigurations or elevated security privileges. New capabilities for Red Hat OpenShift AI. Recent enhancements to Red Hat OpenShift AI include deployment pipelines for AI/ML experiment tracking and automated ML workflows, model serving that now includes GPU support for inference, model monitoring enabling organizations to manage performance, and more. Significant ecosystem and partner announcements included: A collaboration with  ETAS , the Bosch subsidiary responsible for the development of application-independent software for vehicles and the cloud. The collaboration aims to deliver an in-vehicle automotive platform that will lower the development cost and further accelerate time-to-market for automakers. A partnership with  Luxoft , a DXC Technology Company, to accelerate the development of software-defined vehicles (SDVs) with open-source technologies. Real-time analytics news in brief Alteryx announced expanded cloud-connected platform experiences for its flagship Alteryx Designer product with the Alteryx Analytics Cloud Platform, as well as new, upcoming cloud-based Location Intelligence capabilities to bring spatial analytics to the masses. The unified, self-service, and enterprise-ready Alteryx Analytics Cloud Platform now bridges data across all systems with increased governance for faster insights. In other Alteryx news, the company announced Alteryx AiDIN, an engine that combines the power of AI, machine learning (ML), and generative AI with the Alteryx Analytics Cloud Platform to accelerate analytics efficiency and productivity. GitLab announced the release of its DevSecOps platform – GitLab 16 – which includes several new AI-powered features and a preview of the capabilities GitLab is rolling out this next year. GitLab’s new AI and workflow-focused capabilities aim to enhance security, productivity, and efficiency not just on DevSecOps teams but across entire organizations. Upcoming AI-powered features will include Refactor This Code and Resolve This Vulnerability. Infosys  launched Infosys Topaz, an AI-first set of services, solutions, and platforms using generative AI technologies. Infosys Topaz leverages Infosys applied AI framework to build an AI-first core that empowers people to deliver cognitive solutions that accelerate value-creation. Additionally, Infosys Topaz converges the power of Infosys Cobalt cloud and data analytics to deliver cognitive solutions and intuitive experiences. LinearB announced new solutions designed to enable engineering leaders to improve their teams’ operational efficiency and align their R&D investments to business goals. These updates extend support to GitLab, Bitbucket, and Microsoft Azure users and allow engineering leaders to benchmark and measure their team’s performance, automate workflows across the software delivery lifecycle, and quantify the ROI of their activities to business stakeholders. Ocient announced the version 22 release of its flagship product, the Ocient Hyperscale Data Warehouse (OHDW). This latest release builds upon Ocient’s hyperscale data integration and data movement capabilities while adding new real-time analytics features, query performance enhancements, and support for additional business intelligence (BI) tools. Pegasystems announced Pega GenAI,  a set of 20 new generative AI-powered boosters to be integrated across Pega Infinity ’23, the latest version of Pega’s product suite built on its low-code platform for AI-powered decisioning and workflow automation. The solution will be showcased next month at PegaWorld iNspire and will be available in Q3 2023. Provectus announced the v0.13 release of its First Open-Source Data Discovery (ODD) and Observability Platform. The new release includes advanced features such as external enums, dataset schema diff, lineage for entities within a Data Entity Group, and an integration wizard. It includes enhancements, including support for data entity attachments, recursive dataset structures, and more. Reltio has created Reltio for Financial Services and Reltio for Insurance velocity packs. The two master data management offerings are industry-specific, out-of-the-box data models with pre-built integrations to popular applications. These velocity packs are part of Reltio’s pioneering series of industry-specific MDM products. They offer an intuitive experience, low-code / no-code integration tooling, and more to speed time to value. TruEra launched TruLens for LLM Applications, an open-source testing software solution for apps built on Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT. TruLens provides feedback functions that can evaluate truthfulness, question-answering relevance, harmful or toxic language, user sentiment, language mismatch, response verbosity, fairness and bias, and other custom feedback functions created by the user. Yugabyte announced the general availability of YugabyteDB 2.18. The release delivers new features to easily deploy YugabyteDB in multi-region Kubernetes environments at scale, to seamlessly run diverse workloads on a single relational database, and to simplify infrastructure and database operations in private or public clouds. Partnerships, collaborations, and more NVIDIA  announced that it is integrating its NVIDIA AI Enterprise software into Microsoft’s Azure Machine Learning to help enterprises accelerate their AI initiatives. The integration will create an enterprise-ready platform that enables Azure customers to quickly build, deploy, and manage customized applications using the more than 100 NVIDIA AI frameworks and tools that come fully supported in NVIDIA AI Enterprise. BrainChip Holdings and  CVEDIA have entered into a partnership to advance the state-of-the-art in Edge AI and neuromorphic computing. The focus of the partnership will be on the integration of the CVEDIA-RT platform for video analytics running on BrainChip’s Akida neuromorphic IP. By combining the two technologies, the companies can create and train AI models that are optimized for event-based processing and inference at the edge without relying on cloud connectivity or high-power consumption. C3 AI announced that the C3 Generative AI Product Suite is now available as a public offering on Google Cloud Marketplace . Any purchases made through Google Cloud Marketplace are easily tracked and can count towards a customer’s committed spending with Google Cloud. DataRobot announced a partnership with Microsoft to accelerate AI adoption in the enterprise. The collaboration will include integrations with Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), making it possible for data scientists to use large language models (LLMs) to assist with writing code. DataStax  announced a partnership with ThirdAI  to make large language models (LLMs) and other AI technologies accessible to organizations, regardless of where their data resides — on-premises or in the cloud — running on massively scalable databases such as DataStax’s Astra DB. This partnership marks the launch of the DataStax AI Partner Program, which has been designed to connect enterprises with AI startups and accelerate the development and deployment of AI applications. Dell Technologies  and  NVIDIA  announced Project Helix, a joint initiative to make it easier for businesses to build and use generative AI models on-premises to deliver better customer service quickly and securely, market intelligence, enterprise search, and a range of other capabilities. Habu has announced a collaboration with  Microsoft Azure  to integrate its Data Clean Room applications with Azure confidential computing. The combination of the Habu and Azure technologies can deliver a highly secure environment for multiple parties to work with sensitive data, helping ensure confidentiality and protection while enabling customers to share data between partners without revealing any sensitive information. Informatica announced it will further strengthen its collaboration with Microsoft through seamless integration of its cloud-native, generative AI-powered Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) with Microsoft Fabric, the recently announced data and analytics platform. Existing and potential IDMC customers can enroll in a private preview with access available starting June 2023. MongoDB  and  Alibaba Cloud announced a four-year extension to their global strategic partnership. Through this partnership, customers can easily adopt and consume MongoDB-as-a-service, ApsaraDB for MongoDB, from Alibaba Cloud’s data centers globally. SADA announced a new collaboration with  Google Cloud  to accelerate the deployment of generative AI solutions across its joint customer base. With this alliance, SADA will bolster its generative AI capabilities, help its global customer base accelerate their AI journey, and create new AI-powered features and experiences. Soda announced it has achieved Select tier partner status from  Snowflake . As a Select tier partner, Soda can accelerate the digital transformation of its joint customers to fully leverage the performance, flexibility, and scalability of the Snowflake Data Cloud. Snowflake announced the acquisition of Neeva , a search platform that leverages generative AI and other innovations to allow users to query and discover data. By deploying and infusing Neeva’s technologies and innovations across the Data Cloud, Snowflake will allow its users to leverage AI and LLM to more fully query and use data. Teradata announced new ClearScape Analytics capabilities designed to allow enterprise customers to import and operationalize Dataiku AI models inside the Vantage analytics and data platform.
