By FinSMEs Livrada, Inc. , a Pasadena, CA-based e-book marketing and gifting startup, raised a round of seed funding of undisclosed amount. Backers included ICG Ventures , an Ingram Content Group company, and angel investors Thomas Lehrman (founder of the Gerson Lehrman Group), William Hsu, and Shawn Yeh. Formed in January 2012 by Leonard Chen, CEO, Livrada offers Livrada for Authors , which allows writers to create custom e-book cards to promote, market and sell their digital works in the real world. The solution can be also used by corporations, conference planners, and organizations for their distribution needs. The company intends to use the capital to continue to develop the product as a service directly for authors, as well as expand into more retailers. Livrada is hiring (read here ). FinSMEs
