NetEase Tech, 6/01/18 Beijing-based facial recognition solutions provider Shenxing Technology (Sensingtech) recently announced the completion of RMB 9-digit Series B funding led by Cash Capital with participation from SDIC Capital, and Keytone Ventures, as well as Series A investors Matrix Partners China and Fosun Kinzon Capital. Sensingtech is a computer vision company focused on public security. The company's big data integrated prevention and control platform is currently used by police forces in 17 provinces across China. The platform, built on technology to identify moving human faces, static human figures, and vehicles, provides predictions, warnings, and deployment plans for dynamic tracking analysis involved in police work including white list ID screening, criminal pursuit, case investigation, anti-terror operations, and closely monitoring persons of interest.
