More info × Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has declared he is ready to return to the top after a 'very complicated' first year back at Juventus. The Frenchman picked up a meniscal injury in his final match for United at Liverpool and this complaint would continue into the beginning of his stint back in Italy. Following knee surgery, Pogba had to wait until February to make his second debut for Juve. However, this return lasted just two matches after he suffered a tear to his abductor muscle. A shorter spell on the sidelines followed before he returned again in April, appearing sporadically in Serie A and the Europa League . More misfortune was to come for Pogba last week as he suffered a hamstring injury against Cremonese which looks to have ended his season. Taking to Instagram, the 30-year-old addressed the tough year he has had and set his sights towards the future. In a video, Pogba explained: "Hi everyone, I think it’s a good time to talk after all this silence. First of all, a summary of my season, a very very complicated year, with many problems on the field. "As you know, it has been a very difficult year for me and I have tried to take refuge in what I love, football. But it was difficult because physically I had so many problems, now I just have to be patient. "Mentally it is certainly better, thank God. Thanks also to you who support me, and also thanks to you who stay in [good] spirits and can’t wait to [see me] go back to playing. "This year was not to be forgotten, I learned a lot. It will help me get back much stronger. "I will do my best to return, to help Juve, to conquer titles, it was the reason for having returned. I will do my best. I’m ready to go back to the top."
