He is one of the wealthiest people in the world.<br /><br />He is the founder and chairman of Vulcan Inc., a private asset management company, and is also the chairman of Charter Communications. He has investments in real estate, technology, media and content companies and also is the owner of three professional sports teams: the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League, the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association and and the Seattle Sounders FC franchise of Major League Soccer.<br /><br />Forbes has Allen in the top 40 richest people in the world with a net worth of between $35 and $40 billion.<br /><br />Many of Paul Allen's investments in companies will be visible in the investment profile of Vulcan Capital.
