The smart ring Oura Ring Gen 3 has new material and functions

Oct 13, 2023

October 13, 2023 You can buy the new color version for €499 (CZK 12,300) A ring introduces new features targeting daily stress levels and triggers Oura came last year with a new generation of the popular ring, this time in a stylish design called Horizon. While the original Heritage design reflected the company’s traditional values, the Horizon represents the current trend in health monitoring technology where the company is headed. It introduces not only new color variants, but also advanced stress-focused features. New design but also material Horizon is another in a series of devices that monitor users’ health functions. Oura Ring is now available in six variants: Silver, Black, Stealth, Gold, Rose Gold and the newly introduced Brushed Titanium. Crafted from lightweight titanium, it is a perfectly round ring with fine detailing on the underside for optimal sensor functionality. The ring not only catches the eye at first sight, but also offers new technology. In addition to improved battery life, it also offers advanced functions such as heart rate measurement, menstrual cycle prediction and blood oxygen detection. Oura Ring’s new technological features promise less stress The company is adding three new features to its smart ring aimed at monitoring and managing stress: Daytime Stress – Imagine a bodyguard watching over your mental health. This feature continuously monitors your biometrics to reveal hidden triggers of your stress. Whether it’s an increased heart rate during an important meeting or a slight rise in temperature after an argument with your partner, Daytime Stress gives you accurate insight into what’s causing tension in your life. And all this with measurement accuracy every 15 minutes. Reflections – In today’s fast-paced world, we often forget to stop and think about what we feel. The feature is your digital diary with artificial intelligence. It is a place where you can use your voice to record your thoughts, feelings or experiences. And what’s the best part? Just a simple gesture and your thoughts will be safely stored. Stress Resilience – How well do you cope with stress? This feature is your personal stress resistance coach. Based on an in-depth analysis of your daily habits, recovery and sleep quality, it provides detailed insight. Whether it’s after a physical workout, a hard day at work, or an unsatisfied day, it will show how your body reacts and how you can better cope with stressful situations. New features promise a big competitive advantage In the field of technology, more and more smart wearable devices are appearing. While some brands, including big players like Samsung, are still planning to enter the smart ring market, Oura already offers products with different designs and advanced technological features that reflect the current needs and trends of the market. Price and availability The Oura Ring Gen3 Horizon is offered at a price from €329 (roughly CZK 8,100) and is available in the original colors Silver, Black, Stealth and Gold. The new design complements the Oura Ring Gen3 Heritage and you can buy the new color version for €499 (CZK 12,300). All styles and colors are now available at ouraring.com . For more information and to order, visit the brand’s official website. What do you think about the new design and stress measurement features?
