Notice Concerning Financing Through a Sustainability-linked Loan Seibu Holdings Inc. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director, COO: NISHIYAMA Ryuichiro; the "Company") hereby announces that it will raise funds through a sustainability-linked loan ("SLL"*1) from four financial institutions (The Hachijuni Bank, Ltd., Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company, Nippon Life Insurance Company, and The Norinchukin Bank). In the Sustainability Performance Targets ("SPTs") for this SLL, the Company has set the achievement of the Leadership Level (A or A-) in the CDP*2 Scores for climate change disclosure. In addition, when concluding the loan agreement, the Company or the lenders received an evaluation from an external organization regarding conformity or consistency with the SLL Principles, etc. According to the evaluation, the above SPTs are conformable or consistent with the SLL Principles, etc. from the perspectives of the level of ambitiousness, significance, etc. In accordance with the group's management philosophy "Group Vision," the Seibu Group has been actively promoting initiatives toward realization of a sustainable society under the name of "Sustainability Actions." The Seibu Group will promote green management with even greater efforts through raising funds with this SLL to accelerate its response to the urgent social issue of climate change. [Summary of the sustainability-linked loan] Date of execution disclosure *1 SLL: Sets the SPTs based on the borrower's business strategy, and by linking the borrowing conditions and the progress of achieving the SPTs, aims to promote sustainable business activities and growth of the borrower from environmental and social perspectives. *2 CDP: An international non-profit organization that works on environmental issues such as climate change. The CDP sends climate change-related questionnaires to major companies around the world upon request from institutional investors, analyzes and assesses the responses collected, and discloses the results. *3 Outstanding balance of sustainable finance as of September 30, 2023: Approximately ¥43.0 billion (total of direct and indirect financing) Seibu Group Sustainability Actions Based on the Group Vision, Seibu's management philosophy, we are promoting efforts to realize a sustainable society, which we call "Sustainability Actions."
