The Staffordshire agency, which first opened its doors in the 1970s was acquired by MyCleverGroup in 2019. It marked MyCleverGroup’s first acquisition as it targeted “marketing and end-to-end digitalisation.” However, since then, MyCleverGroup has decided to focus on HR-tech software and decided that HCL should be “free to pursue its own course.” Managing Director, Adam Mobley explained that the last 18 months had enabled Harrison Carloss to undergo a “considerable transformation” including a rebrand, increased in-house capabilities and a growth in staff: “It’s been fantastic seeing Harrison Carloss go from strength to strength over the last 18 months, knowing that I’ve played a central role in that journey along with the team. With a background in design and technology, it’s something that I am personally passionate about. I’m now looking forward to continuing to push the business forward and deliver the very best for clients, both existing and new.” MyCleverGroup’s Gareth Mobley will continue to be a shareholder and non-executive Director. “The team at Harrison Carloss, led by Adam, have already achieved such a lot in a short amount of time, and I will continue to support the business with its plans for growth,” he stated. Harrison Carloss is based in Stoke, with offices in Manchester and London.
