As opposed to politicians who determine policies in an abstract way, we must express our opinions in a practical, transparent and estimable manner. Lets' express our (energy experts) opinion, so we could assess the views that are prevalent among us regarding the substantive questions. Since GND goals are quite compatible with UN 2030 Agenda goals and/or ER goals (the associated ones of cause), let's focus on GND goals and a probable way to reaching them. The Green New Deal mentions seven goals previously introduced by Ocasio-Cortez: Shift 100 percent of national power generation to renewable sources. Build a national energy-efficient "smart" grid. Upgrade all buildings to become energy efficient. Decarbonize manufacturing and agricultural industries. Decarbonize, repair, and upgrade the nation's infrastructure, especially transportation. Fund massive investment in the drawdown and capture of greenhouse gases. Adopting these goals would make "green" technology, industry, expertise, products, and services a major U.S. export. As a result, America could become an international leader in helping other countries transition to completely carbon-neutral economies. The Form doesn't collect emails and you will never be spammed.
