MedShr , a London, UK-based healthtech startup, raised over £1.5m in seed funding. The round was led by Karl-Georg Altenburg and Udo Müller’s family office. The company plans to use the capital to continue to expand operations and sign new partnerships across the healthcare sector. Founded by Dr. Asif Qasim, MedShr MedShr provides an app for medical professionals to discover, discuss and share clinical cases and medical images (from ECGs, scans and X-rays to patient photos and videos). Users can join the community and connect with thousands of verified doctors, healthcare professionals and medical students to share knowledge and learn from each other in a secure private network.
