Noda III August 15, 2017 Mandarin Capital Partners acquired 100 per cent shares of the Italian ceramic company Elios , while China-based venture capital firms Kaixin Capital and Yao Capital invested in a $3 million A+ round by digital marketing agency Mailman . Mandarin Capital buys Italian ceramic firm Elios Mandarin Capital Partners has bought out Italy-based ceramic company Elios Ceramiche for an undisclosed sum, and looks to list it on the Milan Stock Exchange by 2019. A Europe-Asia cross-border focused private equity firm, Mandarin Capital said its MCP II fund, through its vehicle Italcer, acquired Elios from from the Levoni family. “With a target of EUR 300 million turnover, the ceramic tile luxury pole, rigorously signed Made in Italy, aims to reach Milan Stock Exchange within 2019,” Milan Capital said in a press statement. Founded in 1968, Elios Ceramica is focused on small sizes, promoting Italian design of ceramics with roots that go back over 20 centuries of art and history. Also Read: China Dealbook: CMC bets on Haiqiu; Mandarin Capital invests in Mipharm Spa Mailman raises $3m in A+ round Chinese venture capital firms Kaixin Capital and Yao Capital backed Shanghai-based digital marketing agency Mailman has raised $3 million in an A+ investment round. Both the VC companies contributed 50 per cent each in the funding round, the SportsBusiness Journal reported. Mailman completed the latest round following a $15 million investment from WeCapital and WeSai last September. Yao Capital was founded by NBA Hall of Famer Yao Ming, who is currently the president of the Chinese Basketball Association. Kaixin Capital, based in Beijing, was founded in 2008 and is mostly focused on investing in local startup stage companies engaged in various industries. Mailman CEO Andrew Collins said Yao Ming has been very supportive, eager to see the company develop more local education and experience sharing with China’s domestic sports leagues. He added Mailman plans to launch in October a new technology giving global rights holders access to more fans in China, involving intelligence, fan data and marketing support. Also Read:
