Abcam ticked up 0.4%. Milner indicated last week in a statement that he plans to request that the company convene a general meeting to replace the company's board, though he hasn't submitted a request yet and it's not clear when he will, according to an Equity Report on Wednesday, which cited a person familiar with the matter. Milner is also discussing the situation with other shareholders. Milner's plan is expected to include keeping Abcam's ( ABCM ) Nasdaq listing while adding back a Main Market listing on the London Stock Exchange, according to the report. Milner's options for Abcam ( ABCM ) may be fairly limited, according to the Equity Report, which cited a lawyer who said that Milner's only real option is to persuade other holders to block the scheme of arrangement. Milner last Thursday said his decision to oppose the Danaher ( DHR ) sale came after he received "extensive" feedback from many holders and analysts that the $24 a share deal "substantially undervalues" Abcam ( ABCM ). Abcam CEO Alan Hirzel on Thursday responded to Milner's plan to vote down the $24 a share takeover. It's "odd to make this choice before you see the facts of the rigorous process that was followed and as you noted in your link above," Hirzel said in a post on LinkedIn i n a response to Milner. "The shareholder circular will make everything clear to shareholders who want the facts."
