06 January 2021 by David Prior CTI Digital has made another acquisition, buying Manchester-based Drupal support and hosting agency Ixis. It's the Manchester digital agency's third acquisition in just over 18 months after the purchase of Nublue in May 2019 and StarDotStar last July. CTI says the acquisition of Ixis will help it to "jump years forward" in terms of its support department's development. Ixis, a Deloitte Tech Top 500 firm, was founded in 2004 and employs 18 staff. Its clients include Blue Prism, British Council, Action Aid, Donkey Sanctuary and Uniper Energy. Founder and CEO Mike Carter will continue to lead the company and the brand will continue to operate as an independent agency. CTI Digital is also expecting a further acquisition to be completed within the next two months which will "support service growth in creative and marketing". "Our goal is to be the trusted digital partner of our clients," said Nick Rhind, CEO of CTI Digital. "Everything we invest in, whether its acquisitions or our staff, our goal is to improve and build on what we do for clients. "Covid has accelerated digital expectations and online take-up by over seven years in the last 11 months. The fear of change previously stopped some companies from investing in digital. I believe our first-line support, now bolstered by Ixis's ISO-accredited team, will instil confidence in brands to react more rapidly and produce 'extraordinary digital experiences' as our clients describe them.
