O painel é constituído por: Sancha de Campanella (vice-diretora geral do ISAL), Cristina Abreu (docente do ISAL), Tiago Oliveira (docente do ISAL) Mónica Camacho (gestora hoteleira), Luz Silva (docente do ISAL) e Andreia Carvalho (docente do ISAL), que irá moderar o evento. O Dia Mundial do Turismo é celebrado em todo o mundo desde 1980, por decisão da Organização Mundial de Turismo. As comemorações têm por objetivo mostrar a importância do turismo, um dos principais motores da economia região. O objetivo deste encontro é promover o debate e a partilha de conhecimento entre empresários, gestores, investigadores, académicos e outros profissionais ligados à atividade turística. É um evento aberto a toda a comunidade.
