Greenstic Europe , a Budapest, Hungary-based distributor and contract manufacturer of disposable, eco-friendly restaurant packaging materials, containers, and cutlery, raised approximately EUR1.4M in funding. Hiventures made the investment. The company intends to use the funds to expand its manufacturing and logistics capacities and broaden its product range and customer base in Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania. Greenstic is a key player in the market of disposable containers and cutlery. Following their acquisition of a competitor at the end of 2021, Greenstic became market leader in the premium segment. In 2022, they embarked on international expansion by establishing a subsidiary in Romania and a franchise partnership in Slovakia, under the new brand identity of Greenstic Europe. FinSMEs
