Leader bio: Jeff Mihalic, V.P. ‐ Fleet & Material Services

Prior to this role, Jeff was the President of DeltaMaterial Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta. He came to Delta in 2015 from Greenwich AeroGroup, where he served as the President of Western Aircraft and Group Senior Vice President of MRO and manufacturing businesses. Jeff has also worked as the Senior Vice President – Operations for Q Aviation, a commercial aircraft leasing business wholly owned by Q Investments. Jeff later served as the President and CEO of Intermet Corporation, a Q portfolio company providing cast metal components to the automotive industry. Before joining Q Investments, Jeff held key executive roles at Bombardier Aerospace. He served as Vice President and General Manager of Customer Service for Bombardier Commercial Aircraft. In this role he was responsible for the support of Bombardier’s worldwide fleet of commercial aircraft, as well as profit centers for training, spare parts and aircraft maintenance. Jeff also served as the Vice President and General Manager of Bombardier Flexjet where he was responsible for client services and operations for Flexjet’s 100 aircraft fleet. Prior to joining Bombardier, Jeff held several senior management positions with United Airlines, including leading United’s surplus aircraft sales group, as well as key roles in engine maintenance operations. Jeff began his career at Boeing as an engineer responsible for the implementation of new production processes and flight line operations. He holds a BSME degree from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the University of Puget Sound.
