Azeus Systems Holdings leads Government of Hong Kong’s vendor base as of August 2021

Top three vendors by volume In terms of the number of IT contracts secured from the Government of Hong Kong, Azeus Systems Holdings topped the table with 12 contracts, followed by HP with four contracts, Computer and Technologies with four contracts. Top contracts by the type of IT service Application outsourcing Solutions accounted for 60%, of the overall contracts for the Government of Hong Kong, followed by infrastructure outsourcing (25.71%), systems integration (5.71%), consulting (5.71%), BPO (2.86%). In terms of types of contracts, 94.44% of IT contracts accounted for the new business category and 2.78% accounted for Infrastructure outsourcing. New contracts accounted for 2.78% of the total contracts as of August 2021. As of August 2021, 97% of all the IT contracts were of the fixed price type and 2% were of License based type. In terms of the geographic scope of the contracts, 100% were based in the Asia. Top contracts expected to end in the next 12 months The top defense industry contracts of the Government of Hong Kong expected to end in the next twelve months are: The 10-years, fixed price contract worth $46m with PCCW Solutions is expected to end on 27 September 2021. The annual value of the contract stands at $5m. Azeus Systems Holding’s five-year, fixed price contract worth $3m is slated to expire on 31 July 2017. The annual value of the contract stands at $1m. Top contracts announced in the last 12 months The top defense industry contracts announced by Government of Hong Kong in the last twelve months include: The nine-year, fixed price contract worth $15m with European Dynamics was announced on 18 January 2021. The annual value of the contract stands at $2m. Top contracts by value The top defense industry contracts, in terms of value, issued and currently under execution by Government of Hong Kong as of August 2021 include: HP’s seven-year contract worth $56m. The fixed price contract has started on 01 December 2008 and is expected to be closed by 30 November 2015. The annual value of the contract stands at $8m. PCCW’s 10-year contract worth $55m. Announced on 19 January 2006, the fixed price contract is due to expire on 18 January 2016. The annual value of the contract stands at $6m.
