Josys, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and device management platform that aids businesses in cutting costs associated with IT operations and enhancing security systems declared that it had raised $93 million in Series B funding. The most recent round of funding, which was led by Global Brain and Globis Capital Partners, brought the company’s total funding to $125 million, according to a statement from the company. With the move to remote work come cybersecurity risks, shadow IT problems, and device management difficulties for businesses. To address these problems, Josys was established in 2021 during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. Its solution enables businesses to automate and improve the management of their software programs and hardware. The business’s Series A round saw $32 million raised in September 2022. Since then, Josys has experienced explosive growth, gaining more than 300 clients and tripling revenues. “In the wake of the pandemic, we are seeing increased complexities in IT operations across the globe as companies struggle to modernize their operations and catch up with the technological and human shifts that have transformed how and where work gets done. As businesses shifted to remote work and adopted numerous SaaS solutions, the challenge of maintaining the “single source of truth” for IT operations became daunting,” said Yasukane Matsumoto, Chief Executive Officer, Josys. Josys intends to grow its operations in the US and the APAC region and expand its product and engineering team with the help of this new round of funding. In order to expand its managed service provider network and speed up service delivery, Josys also plans to scale its go-to-market strategy. “We have successfully forged strategic partnerships with key regional players and local entities and onboarded a wave of new customers in the APAC region. With the momentum of customer onboarding propelling us onward, this will further strengthen our position as an industry leader. We expect more announcements in the fourth quarter, 2023,” added Matsumoto. With this expansion, Josys will be able to offer IT outsourcing services for device lifecycle management, including the buying, configuring, shipping, maintaining, and storing of laptops and mobile devices. Multinational companies with employees all over the world will find these services to be especially helpful. Josys can significantly cut the time required for IT onboarding for international employees from several weeks to just a few days by providing local sourcing and device support. The mission of Josys, a global startup founded in 2021, is to “Redefine IT operations for new-age businesses globally.” According to the statement, Josys is committed to developing operational systems to support the changing nature of international businesses after COVID-19 and has over 100 employees spread across the US, India, Japan, Singapore, and Vietnam.
