Die Aktien wurden im Rahmen einer Privatplatzierung an institutionelle Investoren zu CHF 112,50 je neuer Aktie verkauft. Der Nettoerlös aus der Kapitalerhöhung wird zur teilweisen Refinanzierung des Erwerbs der Stanzwerk Jessen GmbH verwendet. Feintool's Hauptaktionär, Artemis Beteiligungen I AG, welche von Michael Pieper kontrolliert wird, hat unter Beibehaltung seines Anteils von 50,32 % 227.400 neue Aktien zum Angebotspreis erworben. Sowohl Feintool als auch Artemis Beteiligungen I AG haben vorbehaltlich der üblichen Ausnahmen eine Sperrfrist von 180 Tagen vereinbart. Die neuen Aktien werden voraussichtlich am 20. September 2018 an der SIX Swiss Exchange kotiert und zum Handel zugelassen. Es wird damit gerechnet, dass die Zahlung und Abrechnung am gleichen Tag erfolgen. Die neuen Aktien werden den bisherigen Aktien gleichgestellt, einschliesslich der vollen Dividendenberechtigung für das Geschäftsjahr 2018.
