Electronic Arts, Inc. (EA) (NASDAQ: ERTS) is an international developer, marketer, publisher and distributor of video games. Founded and incorporated on May 28, 1982 by Trip Hawkins, the company was a pioneer of the early home computer games industry and was notable for promoting the designers and programmers responsible for its games. Originally, EA was a home computing game publisher. In the late 1980s, the company began developing games in-house and supported consoles by the early 1990s. EA later grew via acquisition of several successful developers. By the early 2000s, EA had become one of the world's largest third-party publishers. In May 2008, the company reported net annual revenue of US$4.02 billion in fiscal year 2008. Currently, EA's most successful products are sports games published under its EA Sports label, games based on popular movie licenses such as Harry Potter and games from long-running franchises like Need for Speed, Medal of Honor, The Sims, Battlefield and the later games in the Burnout and Command & Conquer series. They are also the distributors of the Rock Band series. EA reported a $1.08 billion loss for the financial year ending March 2008. Revenue for the same period was up to $4.2 billion, a 15 percent rise from the previous year's $3.6 billion.

remon 8 mins ago 154 F1 22 – the official game of the ongoing 2022 FIA Formula 1 World Championship – will be released on July 1, Electronic Arts announced on Thursday. The successor to F1 2021 will allow players to race through the final season with revamped cars, updated rules and gameplay options. Players will also be able to test drive the new Miami International Autodrome. The PC version of the game is also compatible with virtual reality, but EA does not know if the F1 22 will be compatible with PSVR. In an announcement posted on the official website on Thursday, EA revealed that F1 22 will be released on July 1 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, and on PC via the EA app, Origin, Steam, and Store. EpicGames. Players who pre-order the F1 22 Champions Edition will be able to access the game three days earlier, on June 28. As part of F1 22’s updated gameplay, players will be able to customize formation laps, safety car periods and pit stops. This year, EA has also added F1 sprint races. Players will have access to the new Miami International Speedway with 19 turns, along with new cars and a revamped handling model, according to EA. Unlike previous releases – including F1 2021 – the upcoming F1 22 title will offer VR compatibility for immersive gameplay on PC, via Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. As mentioned earlier, EA has yet to reveal if the game will be compatible with PSVR. Meanwhile, players will also be able to access My Team and Career Mode with two-player split-screen and online multiplayer, as well as a new hub called F1 Life, where they can show off supercars, apparel and accessories unlocked while playing the game. The game is available for pre-order at Rs. 2,999 for PC, Rs. 4,499 and Rs. 3,999 for PS5 and PS4 on PlayStation Store, and Rs. 4,999 and Rupees. 3,999 for Xbox Series S/X and Xbox One, respectively. The F1 22 Champions Edition is priced at Rs. 4,299 for PC, Rs. 5,499 on Xbox Store and Rs. 5,299 on PlayStation Store. Pre-ordering the game before May 16 will also grant players access to Miami-themed content including a livery, costume, helmet, gloves, cap, t-shirt, and artwork. designed by a local artist. Meanwhile, the F1 22 Champions Edition will give access to the game three days before the release date with F1 22 New Era content, an F1 Life starter pack, new My Team icons and 18,000 PitCoin, according to EA. On PC and consoles, you can get limited time access to F1 22 with EA Play subscription which costs Rs. 315 per month in India. Alternatively, you can get full unlimited access to PC gaming with the EA Play Pro subscription which comes in at Rs. 999 per month in India. EA Play also offers early access.
