News 28/03/2023 X2.0 Europe  is a deep tech growth programme, co-funded by the European Union, aiming to provide 50 EU deep tech start-ups with a customised, industry-focused, growth programme. The results of this programme will lead to the delivery of market-ready applications and technology in: Manufacturing & Circular Economy, AgriTech, HealthTech & BioTech, Smart Cities and Sustainability, and Data & A.I. EIT Digital joins the X2.0 project as an impact builder and as part of a short list of service providers available to participating start-ups. Following a matchmaking process, EIT Digital will offer specific cross-border growth support to selected start-ups and help them in their efforts to develop their business, scale up, and internationalise. With our focus on digital deep tech and our expertise in launching ventures, growing start-ups, and internationalising tech scale-ups, EIT Digital is ready to serve promising deep tech start-ups on their path to growth and commercial impact on the European market. Tuan Trinh, EIT Digital Regional Node Director East About X2.0 X2.0 is a deep tech growth programme that seeks to scale up of EU deep tech start-ups by providing custom, industry-focused, growth programmes that will act as a catalyst in delivering market-ready applications and technology solutions in 5 key impact areas: Manufacturing & Circular Economy, AgriTech, HealthTech & BioTech, Smart Cities and Sustainability, and Data & A.I. It will also promote stronger relationships between moderately innovative and highly innovative regions. The project will distribute EUR 1.5 M in innovation and scaling up services to 50 deep tech start-ups and will contribute to the offering of the EIC programme. From November 2022 to November 2024, X2.0 will launch five open calls. The X2.0 is a sustainable legacy project of X-Europe and aims to leverage its predecessors’ established ecosystem, network, proven innovation action/Startup Europe methodology, and learnings to generate a next-gen coordination action mechanism.
