Edelson Technology Partners (ETP) makes technology-based venture investments in various stages of development. It participates in start-ups, later round and mezzanine financings. ETP's initial investment in a company will normally be in a range of $500,000 to $1.5 million, and the form of investment is usually convertible preferred stock, but may also be convertible debt or common stock. Investments are made in privately held firms or in emerging public companies through private placements. ETP invests on a worldwide basis. It currently has holdings in the U.S., Asia, Europe and Canada.
