Terms of the deal, effective Dec. 1 but announced last week, were not disclosed. The combination adds four employees plus the new office, giving Corrigan locations in Westlake (Crocker Park), Solon and now Medina. Gorsek founder John Gorsek is joining Corrigan as a principal. The firm now counts 73 employees with more than 30 CPAs in those three locations. "We have experienced tremendous growth over the past five years, both internally with our team and with our client base," said managing director Thomas Harrison. "Now with an office in Medina, we're looking forward to continuing to expanding our footprint. This also gives us an incredible opportunity to continue to add to our talent pool." The deal came about as part of Gorsek's succession plan for his business. A spokesperson for Corrigan said the firm is not actively pursuing any other deals in Northeast Ohio but indicated other opportunities will be considered. The Gorsek deal comes one year after Corrigan acquired Klinc & Associates LLC in Solon, which added the firm's office there. Corrigan was founded in 1989 in Rocky River, eventually moving to Crocker Park in 2009. It expanded that space with a 5,000-square-foot addition in early 2016. In 2012, Corrigan logged $4.5 million in revenues and 36 employees. Corrigan spokeswoman Megan Confer said 2017 financials indicate revenues from last year will come in around $7.7 million. "We are looking to grow, and the firm is pretty well-known in the Westlake area," she said. "We want to expand further east and south."
