Cafe de Coral Group names new MD + Cafe de Coral Group has named Piony Leung Ho-ting as its new managing director in Hong Kong. In her new role, Leung will report to CEO Peter Lo, and oversee business operations and provide strategic leadership across the group’s business in Hong Kong. According to Cafe de Coral, she will also play a “pivotal role” in achieving the company’s growth goals in the Hong Kong F&B sector. “With her excellent leadership skills, she has led the team through major market shocks and adapted to the challenging business landscape,” said Lo. “I have every confidence that Piony will be able to maximise business synergies and build a stronger brand portfolio by integrating the QSR, casual dining and institutional catering businesses as a whole.” Joining the group in 2019, Leung has more than 25 years of experience in the retail and FMCG industry. Prior to Cafe de Coral, she held the MD role at General Mills, North and Southeast Asia. “Although the economic outlook remains uncertain, I am committed to working side by side with my team members to explore future business opportunities and retain the group’s leadership position in this rapidly changing market,” said Leung.
