Retail in Asia Source : CALECIM® Cosmeceuticals CALECIM® Cosmeceuticals (CALECIM®), a subsidiary of Singapore-based biotech company CellResearch Corporation, has appointed Cooper McGuire as its new Chief Operating Officer. McGuire was the former COO at Zalora and Skin Inc. McGuire will lead the company’s transition from a doctor-centric model to a direct-to-consumer model, allowing it to participate in the rising global cosmeceuticals market. McGuire previously spearheaded the company’s digital transformation and e-commerce expansion as COO and CFO of Skin Inc, a personalized skincare firm. McGuire previously served as COO of Ensogo Group, a publicly traded online marketplace with operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia, where he was in charge of the company’s restructuring efforts. McGuire grew ZALORA Network into Asia Pacific’s largest group of online fashion destinations as co-founder and CFO before joining Ensogo, having responsibility for fundamental infrastructure comprising corporate finance, finance and accounting, business intelligence, legal, and human resources.
