About Christopher Weil & Co.

CWC is a financial services firm with four major lines of business: Portfolio Management, Financial Planning, Private Equity and Asset Management Services. Christopher Weil formed the original CWC in 1971 as a NASD/SEC securities broker-dealer. Chris operated CWC and an affiliated real-estate investment firm until 1985, when he sold both to an affiliate of a New York Stock Exchange-listed company. Chris stayed on as chairman until 1988. In 1989, Chris formed The Weil Company (which in 1996 adopted Christopher Weil & Company, Inc. as its "dba") to continue the CWC investment-management business. Today, CWC and its affiliates-CWC Asset Advisors, Inc. and Storage Managers, Inc.-manage stock and bond portfolios, operate a number of private equity funds and provide an array of related financial and personal services.

Weil formed the original CWC in March 1971 as an NASD/SEC securities broker-dealer and operated CWC and an affiliate real estate investment firm until 1985, when he sold both to a New York Stock Exchange-listed company, staying on as chairman until 1988. In 1989, he formed The Weil Co. (which in 1996 adopted Christopher Weil & Co., Inc. as its ‘dba’) to continue the CWC investor, manager and advisor business. Weil has been in the investment firm business for over 40 years. He is the director of the San Diego Grantmakers, the San Diego Mainly Mozart Festival and the Patricia and Christopher Weil Family Foundation.
