2 minutes read Dias Carneiro Advogados advised Banco BTG Pactual on the granting of a loan to Marisa Lojas of up to R$65 million with a final maturity of three years, secured by a fiduciary assignment of credit rights held by Marisa arising from legal claims regarding the collection of ICMS on the PIS and COFINS calculation base. This transaction was considered “the announcement of Marisa’s return to the bank credit market”, given that, in addition to the credit transaction, Marisa will continue to have the right to offset part of the credit rights during the term of the credit transaction, for a total amount of approximately R$ 85 million. Dias Carneiro Advogados relied on partner Gustavo Junqueira (pictured left) and associate Luiza De Munno.
