Arnold & Porter advised BlueWhite Legal Capital (BlueWhite), a privately held litigation finance provider, on its official launch. BlueWhite focuses on financing commercial litigation, and seeks to provide business solutions that give law firms a competitive advantage and enhance corporate litigation management efficiency and profitability. The firm is led by a team that includes founding principals Jules Kroll, Aaron Rubinstein, Earl Doppelt and Jack Blackburn. Arnold & Porter structured, negotiated and documented BlueWhite’s inaugural investment fund and related arrangements with Magnetar Capital, the fund’s anchor investor. Moelis & Company served as BlueWhite’s financial advisor and fund placement agent. The team was led by Investment Management practice co-head Stephen Culhane (Picture) and also included Investment Management associate William LeBas and Corporate partner Mel Cherney.
