Project concept MUFG defines its purpose as "Committed to empowering a brighter future" and our business activities are driven by the determination to make every effort to empower all our stakeholders to take the next step forward. In line with this purpose, we aim for the new MUFG Headquarters Building to be the symbol of an MUFG that is open and connects with all stakeholders. To achieve this goal, we created the slogan "Go Beyond with you" for the project concept to represent the vision of what the new building should become and the direction of this new way of working. We also hope that this concept will help bring positive change to the mindset and behavior of everyone at MUFG, and have established the following three keywords as a guide for achieving these goals. [Project concept] Promote autonomy in decision making and information flow to improve productivity and creativity ・Collaboration: [Organizational Culture] ・Creation: [Contribution to Society] Create innovation through collaboration with society We will create the MUFG Headquarters Building based on this concept, which originates from our corporate slogan "Committed to empowering a brighter future," to contribute to our customers, communities, society, and all other stakeholders through our group-wide efforts. 2. Overview of the new MUFG Headquarters Building Support for the new ways of working As we seek to further advance integrated group management by centralizing head office functions, we will promote new ways of working and communication and aim to create a workplace with more flexibility and creativity. (2) Contribution and commitment to our customers and society The lower floors will provide an outdoor open space, an indoor plaza, a pedestrian passage, an area for co-creation with customers, lounges, etc. The new building will be open use by the local community as a place for interaction and communication. (3) Involvement in SDGs and carbon neutrality In addition to contributing to decarbonization, saving energy, and recycling resources, the building will have a comfortable environment focused on the health of visitors and the surrounding environment, as well as pursuing convenience through functions that anyone can use comfortably. (4) Disaster preparedness The building will be equipped with robust infrastructure and facilities to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster, protecting people working in or visiting the building and contributing to the neighborhood's disaster preparedness. 2 3.
