About Argos Soditic

Argos Soditic is a European private equity firm with offices in Switzerland, France, and Italy, focusing on management buyouts and management buy-ins. Investments made will generally involve majority, or influential minority, equity investments in companies with annual revenues generally between €20 million to €400 million ($22 million to $431 million). Investments will be structured with intended holding periods generally ranging from three to six years. The principal elements of the firm's strategy are as follows: (i) a local presence in three European countries - Switzerland, France, and Italy - enabling the firm to leverage the strength of each Partner's local networks and market expertise; (ii) a focus on investing in medium-sized companies primarily in countries where the firm has local offices; (iii) a policy of not creating fixed allocations by sector or by country which allows for opportunistic investing throughout the region, as well as geographic, political and economic diversification; (iv) a practice of generally acting as a lead investor, and not a syndicate member, which provides a greater degree of control in conducting due diligence, negotiating, pricing, and structuring investments; (v) a consensus approach to investment decisions where all Partners are involved and which emphasizes interdependence rather than independence among the various country offices; and (vi) an organizational structure which provides for all the Partners to share proportionately in all investments made by the fund regardless of where an investment is located or who originated it.
