Agari recently announced that it has raised $40 million in growth capital in a round led by Goldman Sachs Growth Equity and oversubscribed participation from existing investors, including Scale Venture Partners, Norwest Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Battery Ventures, Alloy Ventures, and First Round Capital. The latest round of funding brings Agari’s total raised till date to $88 million. The company also announced that Olga Kaplan, a Vice President in Goldman Sachs’ Merchant Banking Division, will join its board of directors as a part of this investment. The company will also use the funding to invest further in its domain authentication technology based on the DMARC standard and Agari Identity Intelligence — the artificial intelligence that underpins all Agari products, with 300 million model updates per day that are facilitated via data from trillions of emails and billions of inboxes. Agari Summer ’18 Release The company recently introduced its Summer'18 Release. The release, which expands the Agari Email Trust Platform's protection against advanced identity deception attacks, gets significant enhancements such as an interactive threat taxonomy for granular attack analysis, “search and destroy” automated remediation for Microsoft Exchange environments, and attachment analysis for improved account takeover detection. AJ Shipley, Vice President, Products, Agari, said , "Agari pioneered the application of artificial intelligence to protect against advanced identity deception, and our Summer ’18 release demonstrates our continuing innovation with new machine learning models to enhance detection, improve visualization for analysis, automate the authentication of email senders, and accelerate remediation of incidents." Set to become available to all Agari customers in early July, 2018, the Summer'18 Release also includes provisions such as Agari Identity Intelligence, which brings in new attachment analysis abilities to drive additional signal for account takeover machine learning models and integrates new crowd-sourced sender intelligence from over two trillion emails every year – the largest DMARC customer base.
