Precision Energy and Technology is a Kettering, OH based company that has received a grant(s) from the Department of Energy's SBIR/STTR program. This project explores a novel electrochemical method of storing electrical energy generated during off-peak periods so that it can be used to offset electrical demand during peak-use periods on an electrical grid. This project will develop proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC). These fuel cells offer a solution to power generation and battery replacement for a wide variety applications including automotive, appliances, generators, and recreational uses for decades to come. This programs intent is to reach the goal of reducing components and improve reliability.
