Tickets are on sale. ($25-$499, ) Pop-country superstar Kenny Chesney’s “Here and Now” stadium tour takes over Empower Field at Mile High on July 30, 2022 — a long wait for fans still holding tickets to 2020’s twice-postponed “Chillaxification” tour. “I always want to be that place where you can let go, feel safe and have the time of the summer,” Chesney said in a press statement, eliding the dozens of boozy arrests and hospital trips among his “No Shoes Nation” crowd at past shows. Steady your tailgates and livers, kids. Tickets are on sale. ($36-$246, ) Daryl Hall & John Oates, as they’re calling themselves these days (not Hall & Oates, mind you!) are returning to Denver with a rescheduled Ball Arena show as part of 2021’s Kool Koncert from Kool 105.1-FM. The Sept. 1 performance includes sets from Squeeze and KT Tunstall. Previously held tickets are still good, and new tickets are on sale. ($29-$350, ) Enduring Texas rockers ZZ Top will headline Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on Aug. 24, and tickets for the all-ages concert went on sale last week. ($30-$200, ) Related Articles GRiZ, a Michigan act that’s one of future-funk’s biggest success stories, fills in a late-summer slot at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Sept. 6 with three sets: A “Chasing the Golden Hour” set, ’10-’17 set, and “Full Flex Set.” Tickets for the all-ages concert are on sale. ($59.50-$100, ) Are we on the verge of ska’s… um, sixth or seventh revival? (Give or take a couple revivals.) It certainly feels that way, partly because Boston’s Mighty Mighty Bosstones are back on the road with a vengeance, this time with The Dendrites. Tickets for their 16-and-up, Sept. 5 Ogden Theatre show are on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 1. ($30-$35, ) Tipper’s newly announced Red Rocks Amphitheatre shows, Aug. 6-7, will include openers Detox Unit, Evac and Bwoy de Bhajan (Aug. 6) and Mickman, Resonant Language and Frequent (Aug. 7). Tickets for the all-ages concerts are on sale at noon on Friday, July 2. ($67.50-$75 per day; $135-$200 two-day passes, ) The Motet returns with its raucous Halloween costume-party show, Oct. 30, at the Boulder Theater. Expect lots of tasty covers. Tickets for the concert went on sale last week. ($35-$39.50, ) Monster Energy’s Outbreak Tour will this year feature headliner Laine Hardy, along with performances by Chris Bandi and Kylie Frey. Tickets for the Oct. 1, 18-and-up concert at The Grizzly Rose are on sale starting July 1. (Prices not yet available, ) This year’s Westword Music Showcase will take place in and outside RiNo’s Mission Ballroom and feature a killer lineup of acts: Young the Giant, Matoma, Thundercat, Hippo Campus, Kaytranada and Duke Dumont, plus dozens more to be announced. Tickets for the Sept. 17-18 shows are on sale. ($90-$190, ) Also at Mission: an impressive fourth night has been added for young picker Billy Strings, with tickets for the Oct. 17, 16-and-up concert on sale now. ($35-$89, ) Denver Coliseum Outdoors will host a mega-dance rager in the form of Fisher, playing a back-to-back set with Chris Lake and support from Under Construction, on Aug. 14. Tickets for the all-ages party went on sale last week. Tables are available for parties of 10 on the actual stage, and you guessed it — they’re not cheap. ($50-$500, ) Also in the B2B (back-to-back) realm: Mission Ballroom on July 30 will host DJ Snake and Malaa for B2B sets, with tickets for the 16-and-up concert on sale now . ($45-$125, )
