About CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting is a developer of non-invasive procedures for the reduction of unwanted fat tissue through lipolysis. The procedure utilizes a patented method that is designed to kill fat cells near nerves, muscles, and bones, without causing injury to the skin or other tissue that results from liposuction. The treatment is based on the principle that fat cells will undergo programmed cell death, or apoptosis when exposed to certain cool temperatures.
